About Me
I was fortunate to have been raised on the lush, tropical island of the Caribbean named Puerto Rico. It was there that I developed my passion for the arts including poetry, writing, music, and drawing. I enjoyed the freedoms of life on the island like, just being able to walk outside barefoot, picking fruit off the trees, and going to the beach. I loved being able to stuff frogs in my pocket, and gaze at bugs just busily going about their day. I learned to love nature, the beautiful landscapes, the people of the island and our traditions. I embraced the land I lived in and it embraced me back, until I moved to the big city.

Although Chicago was not a tropical paradise, this urban jungle offered me a whole new world to enjoy and explore.
As an information technology consultant I am able to infuse my work with lots of creativity and imagination. As an artist, I can pick up a brush and infuse my emotions and passions onto a canvas. I paint from my heart, and pour my soul into everything I paint. For me painting is a form or poetry, I can express with color what I feel in my heart, the magic, and the enchantment that is around me. One of my favorite things to paint are faces because faces show so much emotion. Each face tells a story and it is up to me to interpret what that is. I also love to paint children, because it gives me a chance to showcase their innocence, playfulness, and beauty.
Painting provides me with the opportunity to make a connection with the world and gives me a chance to show others what I see. My wish is that you can share the same experience with me and that my paintings can captivate you in some special way.
